 Subject: 5 inch drop

will a 5 in drop work with a 255/45 tire on a 2000 dak std cab. i mean just the front. now i have 2 in control arms and the 3in djm coils and i have a total of 3-3.5 in of drop. i want to gt new coils to get one more in and i want to know if it will hit my fender or wheel well. my tire stick out slightly.

i had 235/70's and had a ¼ inch from the tire to the fender, every bump made it rub, those tires bein wider but smaller in height may not rub that much, or maybe not at all....i went down to a 205/60/15 and have plebty of room now...and your tire will hit the fender mostly...so if u want a 5in front drop u might need to planb on new tires...and does your truck have the 16 inch rims? that will make a difference

better have some really low tires......my 15" rubeb and i had 235/70's now i have 205/60's and they have about 2/3 inches of room.....i think my tires are 26" tall....but not real sure, i'll measure them tommorow
