Message: If ya have to ask...... I'd say probably not, but if you insist......
These tools (along w/ standard automotive tools) will be neccessary:
Floor jack(s)
Jack stands
Spring compressor
Ball joint seperator
Compliant friend
Plasma cutter or air chisel
I probably forgot one or two, but you'll need the others to get it done, along with a healthy amount of patience. I considered doing it, but changed my mind when I found a reputable shop to take care of it - at a price that I found very agreeable.

Message: my brother-in-law took mine to his shop and did it for me! I dont know how the western chassis kit is, but if you have a shackle hanger kit, like DJM, you need to drill out the stock rivets (be prepared to wear ear plugs!) he said that the control arms were the hardest part to install. If you have the right air tools on hand, go for it!

Message: Yeah, one of my friends that has lowered his r/t and a couple of s10s is going to help. But he can't do it until next weekend and I was going to see how difficult it was going to be. My major concern is getting the stock hangers and shackles off.

Message: I got most of the tools taken care of..with the ball joints riveted in, and I going to have to replace them? Or will they work in the new a-arm.

Message: did you get the sway bar links? i did they dont work the factory ones are at an angle and these are just bolts w/ bushings and stuff on them. i was told you can use the stock ones, but they might need to be trimmed and re welded. anyone confirm this? with the balljoints, they looked hard to get out wtihout wrecking them, so i bought new ones.
