Message: it will drop but it will ride like absolute do-do. with the suspension resting on the axle you will hop up and down everytime the wheel and tire do. You will have no suspension.

Message: I have a 6" drop in the back (no bump stops)
believe me temporarily its okay, but your
rearend will get hammered! it doesnt ride on
the axle, but if you hit a bump hard, it slams.
mine has only done that twice. hopefully while
its in the body shop, they can C-notch it for
me.

Message: when i had my 2/5 on. the rearend sat directly on the bump stops......i cut the bump stops almost 3/4 down and it still sat about ¼inch from the axel, that was a horrible ride, the front bounced and the back was so stiff it made the front bounce more, and it wheel hoped everything.....with my 5/5 i sit about 2½inches from the bump stops and it rides pretty smooth back there
and a 3/6.....doesnt ur truck sit lower in the back? b/c my truck sat lower in the back when i had a 2/5 on it

Message: I got them easy c-notchs you bolt in....they came with a template and i took a sawzall and a grinder and cut out an arch and then bolted the notches in....it was easy....about 3 hours worth of work and it gives you about 3 inches of susp travel. i'm lowered 6 in the back now and it NEVER hits the axle....but i never tow anythings....i had it lowered 7 in the rear and it would hit the axle on rough country roads every once in a while....but back then i was lowered in the front 5in with 215/55/16's and you had to be careful to keep the lower control arms and the rack from cutting gaps in the concrete.
