I was told by Dodge and another local shop that you cannot replace the bushings on the upper control arms. My header on the passenger side melted one of the bushings on the upper control arm so I figured I would just replace all of the bushings. Now they are telling me that I have to replace the whole control arm. Is this right?

What ever dealer told you that is incorrect. The part number for the bushings is 52037673, unless you have a 4WD Kota, then you do have to replace the upper control arms. Ahhh, the luxuries of working at a Jeep dealership and looking up your own parts.

Hey thanks loweredkota, I called a different dealership and they said that they can be replaced, $15 for the bushing, a lot better than $236 for the arm.
