Subject: A-arms or springs ??? IP: Logged
Message: I want to lower my new dak 3/5 and i was thinking about going with the DJM kit. I was just wondering if i should go with the a-arms or coils. I have heard that the a-arms mess with your turning radius and that they hang real low to the ground. But if i go with the coils, will the camber be affected?
ANY info would be greatly appreciated.

Message: Hell yes! The camber will absolutely be affected. Just get an alignment afterwards.

Message: I am using the Western Chassis 3/5 kit. I have no problems with the arms hanging low like the djm kits. My turning radius is only affected because I installed R/T front swaybars and the wheels rub them on a full turn. The WC kit is a 2" dropped a-arm, and 1" springs.
I love it.
