Message: I live in the DFW area, so since these things weigh about a million pounds, I will only ship to you if you are totally willing to pay the humungous shipping costs...But I would rather sell in the DFW area. Also, I am willing to drive a little ways to bring them to you, or we can set up a halfway point.
The first $75 gets them...

Message: Post 'em on ebay! Heh, I think I am going to post my stock springs on there. I just need a way to get rid of them really, but at least people will want yours. Who wants 8000 mile barely punished 2WD springs? Maybe I'll just use them to try and make a catapult.

Message: They are very easy to put on. Just jack your truck up, undo the U-Bolts and the bolts holding it to the frame, the swap them out. Shipping is going to be around $140 to send to your location...

Message: Do the R/T springs mount up to the same hangers as other stock daks? I've heard that these springs will lower the rear of a non R/T 1". Do you know if that's true?
Thanks

Message: One other thing is torquing 110 and 120 ft/lbs for the leafs. This is a daunting task when you weigh in at a heafty 150 pounds, while under a low truck, is hard as hell.
Is there an easier way I could have done this? I know I'm not supposed to tighten them when it's jacked because I can destory the bushings if I do. Any other ways?
This is also where that friend comes in. Just one other person, that would just hold the T55, would have made my life so much easier.

Message: Kris
Do you have an idea of how these would work on a 2001 QC? I see that you have a CC so our weight difference is about 300 lbs (I think). I would like to keep as much as the "payload" capacity as I can.
I am looking to lower the rear by an inch or 2. I'm thinking that I could use these springs initially then, later, add a 1" block if needed.
I have Inlaws that go to Plano quite often so I could arrange for delivery/pick up close to you.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Bill

Message: As far as I know, you should not have have a problem, but since I am not an expert on the QC, I can only state my opinion. If I am not mistaken, I thought that all of the Dakotas (except the R/T's) had the same Leaf Spring set up. Because if you order aftermarket leafs, they are the same part number for all of the trucks. The difference is mainly the front coils because of the varying engine weights and stuff. As far as that, I think you should be ok.
If you are interested, let me know.
