Subject: Tire Rubbage!! Sucks!! IP: Logged
Message: I have a 98 CC V6 lowered 3 front/4 rear. The 255/65R16's I have rub in the front. Does anyone know of a good tire size to fit my 16 inch wheels that won't rub? I can not stand the look of tires that are only an inch from road to rim and belong on the ricer honda race wanna be's. Nor do I like the stupid popular look of the stage coach looking wagon wheels on trucks. Does anyone have any ideas, comments, or suggestions? Who is the tire expert???

Message: Ah, I had the same problem. I am lowered the same amount.
To cure that problem I got 235/55/R16's made by Falken. These tires are actually wider than 235mm, They are measured to be about 250mm and confirmed by Falken.
They grip nicely and look sharp. I have adequate clearence and never rub, but my front end does bottom out at times. Looks sharp.
