Message: I got a 97 dodge ram ss/t. Just got a belltech 3/4 drop on my truck, with the belltech shocks. I wanted edelbrock shocks they didn't have any shocks to fit the 3/4 drop. My ride compared to stock stinks. I think i made a mistake getting it. Yeah it looks nice, maybe hugs turns a little more, but dissapointed in the ride quality! Also squeaks like crazy. What do i do it sounds like the back is squeaking maybe the shocks? What do i do to stop it? do i use wd 40 or what? sometimes it feels like it bottoms out over bumps in the back. is that from the stiff shocks from belltech?

Message: I only have a 2/3 that ended up being a 3or4/5 from belltech. They suck!!! I am changing it all to hotchkis regardless to how much I love how it sits, but I must agree that the ride blows and the squeeks drive me up the wall. I just did the ball joints in the front and that helped so of the noise and the ride, but the rear noise I dont think will ever go away with out huge mods. I just know what to tell you. I have toxics now after the nitro drop and the ride did get better. I think when I go bilsteins with the hotchkis TVS package it will change alot. Give it some thought and maybe talk to a couple of professionals.

Message: u didnt say weather u used blocks, leafs, or shackles n' hangers for the rear. alot of times unless u used blocks, when the leafs are taken apart and put back togethter when the eye bolts are tightened the vehicle is in the air and the suspension is hanging. This causes the bushings to twist when the vehicle is put back on the ground and the suspension is loaded. they should be tightened with the weight of the vehicle on the suspension to prevent the bushing from twisting. Im not possitive but thier are little plastic circles between the leaf packs to prevent squeaking also.
