How much do you have your truck lowered, and what width are those 18" rims?

Thank you for the plug low99dakota :-)

While my site does have a lot of my mods detailed, I don't think I've gotten around to updating the suspension components (one of these days :-)

My Dakota is lowered 2" in the front and 3" in the back via the Hotchkis sport suspension. My rims are American Racing Nooze series and are 18x8 with 25mm offset and 5.5" backspacing. The tires are Nitto 404 Extreme Force in 255/55/18.

Thanks,

How wide do you think I can go in the rear with 18" rims, what offset and backspacing would I use?

See, what I want is the same rim design, wide ones in the back and not-as-wide ones in the front (if the rims come in multiple widths).
If I can't find any I want I will get the same width, do you have any rubbing with your setup?

Also, how do I know what offset and spacing to get?

I really don't know how wide you can go with 18" rims and what backspacing you'd need. I got my rims because they are 8" wide with 5.5" backspacing and I knew they'd fit because that's what the stock rims are.

The only (pitiful) advice I can give on this is to post another question and talk to the company when you find the rims you want. Dakota's have been out long enough so the company should know what works and what doesn't.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
