Message: i have a 4/6 drop with 20's and 20x10's will work on a drop that low (im thinking about my 8" rims to 10's in the rear)
you just have to have the right backspacing

Message: Backspacing is the distance from the mounting surface to the edge of the rim where the bead of the tire sits, not to the outer edge. To explain further, if you measure the entire width of an 8" wheel, it is actually 9" wide. Manufacturers rate a weel width according to the inside width where the tire actually fits. The easiest way to measure backspacing is to get a yardstick, lay it across the rim and measure from there to the munting surface. you them measure the distance of the small lip on the edge of the rim and subtract that from your first measurement....you then know the backspacing!
