Subject: Hotchkis question IP: Logged
Message: just wondering if ya'll would recomend the full hotchkis suspension. i want really good ride and handling but the kit is a little pricey. could i use maybe a djm kit and just use the sport sway bars and upgrade to really good shocks?
i guess i'm just asking if the kit is really worth the money. i'll be getting my new truck in a few days and i need to start figuring what i'm going to do to it.
also, is there an easier way to lower it just a little more? i'm thinking a 1" block in the rear, but is there a way to go maybe 1/2" to an inch lower in front?
any info is much appreciated.

Message: what is more important to you, a good ride, or bitchen handling?
the hotchkis will handle VERRY WELL, but is a little jaring.
you can get a block, and some coils for the front, and save a lot of money, and it will have the stock ride, but it will also handle like stock

Message: I agree with kota on 20s. The Hotchkis handles great and is quite a bit firmer than the stock setup.
