 Subject: Chassis Tech 3-4" Help

Has any body installed the Chassis Tech 3-4 drop kit with just the hangers. I had a shop install it on my 1998 Dak & it only lowered the back about 2" & it rides like crap. I talked to plenty of reps from there & i keep getting differnt answers on what the problem is. Just wonderin if anybody could help me out.... like describe how the rear hangers are suppose to be.

I am about to order some stuff from Chassis tech my self. I was going to order 3" drop ciols and 4" leaf springs. I may be wrong but from i can understand i believe you have to use new shackles and hangers to get a 4" drop.

that's what i thought. but i keep getting told that the frount & rear hangers give it 2" drop each... totaling 4" & shackles cant be used for 97 + dakotas. but that's not the drop i got. everything looks like it was put on correctley & the instructions they sent dont help either. I also have the coil springs up frount.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM ASSITECH OR LAIM. There products suck and will not last if they even fit. If you are going to lower it, use western chassis, djm, or belltech.

Amen to the anti- chassis tech and AIM. Any place that charges a 35% restocking fee for their products obviously doesn't have a good customer service policy. This is also a good indicator that the poducts are crap if they have to reclaim 35% of the price due to so many returns.

I got the chassis tech 3/5 drop(hangers,1 inch drop block and 3inch coils) when all was installed the rear end saggs niticably lower in the rear, I had to take the 1 inch block off to raise it, now it it looks level. Lesson learned don't buy chassis tech. I should've bagged it in the first place.

I just purchased a 2" Drop coil springs and 3" rear blocks for my 2002 RT Club Cab from Chassis Tech. I have not installed them yet. After reading all of the messages above I am thinking maybe I should return it all. Has anyoe out there done the drop I bought?
