Subject: C-notch and how to make one. IP: Logged
Message: Can't you buy them from DJM? I see that they include them in most of there 4/6 drop kits? If not would you just got to a suspension shop and have them do it there or is it possible to do it yourself? Thanks

Message: you can make it yourself, but by the time you
finish measuring, cutting and welding, you're
probably better of spending the 30 something
dollars, or whatever they cost.

Message: most notches cost $100+. I made my own "monster" notches but it took a good 3 weeks to get evey thing done right. I just went to the local hardware store and bought 2" wide steel that was about 4' long and cut.... and cut some more and welded and welded some more until it was done. It looks really neat but is a big pain in the @$$ and if you dont have the patience then you probably should just save some money

Message: Nice setup on your ladder bars! What brand of coilovers did you use? Also what rating are those coilover springs?

Message: thanx!
the coilover shock kit is competition engineering, it has comp. engineering drag shocks, and comp. engineering 150# coils. I might switch to a 125# coil later... because its pretty darn stiff... but that also would be from the unforgiving shocks....
