 Subject: shorter shocks?

i just ordered the djm 3"control arms and the 5"shakles and hangers. Is it necessary to get shorter shocks in rear or will stock ones work? If i do need shorter ones how short and what kind..any suggestions? thanks

You should ask DJM on this rear shock question, theysell shocks also.

you definately need shorter shocks, unless
you want to bottom out everywhere.
I used the toxic shox from DJM, work real well,
have a nice soft ride, and cheap too.

thats the same shock i used......u will defiently want it b/c the rear end will be loose and will bounce alot....the shocks i put on made it stiff again and now it rides ALOT smoother and rarley bottoms out.....i paid $160 for all 4 shocks but the front shocks were not shorter than the stock ones....the stock ones were actually shorter.....
