Message: 3" control arms keep the "stock" ride.
spindles are only made for pre 97 dakotas
shackles/hangers in the rear for the "stock"
ride.
only thing that makes it handle better is the
lower center of gravity, and stiffer/shorter
shocks.
shorter coil springs are stiffer, and make for a
slightly rougher ride, same with new leaf
springs. very good if you're lookin to carve
some s-turns, but, if you want to change the
look of the dakota w/o sacrificing ride/function,
then control arms and shackle hangers are
the way to go.

Message: you dont need lowering springs with the
control arms, you retain the stock springs and
stock ride, the springs are just seated lower, I
have pics of how low the 3" arms sit on my
webstie.
