Well you know 1" is all I want on my front so if you don't want the springs I'll take 'em.

I'v been told if you put their spindles on with the springs it will drop the front the rest of the way.

same results, and you dont risk fatiguing the
metal. Id rather not have a spring snap on me

if you are goin to do that to your springs, you better have good health ins. cause they will break on you. worse yet if you are doing any amount of speed, it wont be nice. If you dont want to spend $$, why dont you cut a coil or two, that is not the way to do it either but at least you dont have to worry when your spring is going to break.

when they say 3" drop and it drops it 1" why should i buy the spindles for the full drop? i am gonna buy belltech spindels....b/c i am not giving djm anymore money! and my friends truck with blocks on it rides better than mine does....djm just sucks all together! have already spent a lil over $600 on droping my truck what was supose to be a 3/5 but turned into a 1/5...

I have a friend with a lil old import truck that they cut the spring and heated. He's currenty riding without bumpstops or anything. Rides like a Lexus, not. It is so harsh in there when he drives and the creeking/clunkiung is kinda spooky. Do not do this to your expensive truck. If it's a lil ole -- Mazda I think --, go for it, but not the Dakota.

The cheapest and SAFEST way is to go to an auto store buy spring clams and just commpress the springs till your desired height. I dropped my Dak almost three inches in the front.
