Hi. Im going to be lowering my 2000 2wd Dakota 2" up front and 4" out back, coils and shackle/hanger kit, 17X8s with 255/55/17 tires. I would like to know will I need a camber kit for the front alignment? Should the truck be able to be aligned to factory specs? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had to shim mine after I dropped it 2/4, The alignment was way off!
Make sure you get the correct "back spacing" on the 17" wheels.. I tried to put R/T wheels on mine after I dropped it, and they won't fit.
Just a precaution!
Good luck

If your interested in what happens if you don't get it aligned:
If you have any sort of "good" tires on there get it aligned right away! It going to chew those tires up in no time...
Believe me I've been there!
