 Subject: New to truck scene & need lowering advic

I have a bone stock '99 dakota 6-cyl and would like to lower it a bit. I'm used to sports cars and such and would like about a two finger gap between the tires and fender. What would I need to accomplish this? TIA.

Oh and are there kits to get rid of the leaf springs and use just coil springs and shocks?

Go to the Hotchkis website (sorry I don't have it)I put their coils in front (2inchs) and 3 inch blocks in the rear on my 2000 Durango and don't have any problems..love it!
