Message: Hello Kevin, do a 2" front and 3" rear drop, this is the perfect drop in my opinion, and is user friendly still. looks great especially with 17" wheels. Check out www.Hotchkis.net

Message: Hey Kevin, I have a 1998 Standard Cab Short Box Dakota that I've got dropped on the 4"/6" DJM kit. It wasn't too much trouble to install. The C-notch is kind of a bitch. My dad and I did all the work on installing the kit, but there is a fair amount of work involved. The truck rides great with this kit and it looks sweet. It handles really well too. I usually only bottom on the hugest of speed bumps because even with the 4/6 I still have about 5" of ground clearance.
