To the best of my knowledge there are no torque specs for the crown bolt on the ball joints. Just tighten until the nuts are tight and insert the new cotter pin. One thing to keep in mind though is to keep tightening the nut until the holes line up. Do not loosen the nut.

Other than that it's pretty much common sense and be sure to support the front end and the lower control arm. You don't need the coil to come flying out and impail you in the abdomen.

Have you thought about replacing the ball joints while you're under there? Now would be the time.

I have a 03 R/T does anybody know the torque specs for the bolts that replace the rivets that hold the replacement ball joint (upper and lower) onto the control arm? I have the new ball joints but cannot find the specs. All the info I can find says to replace the ball joint and control arm as an assembly. Please help.
