hey people.....
anyone by any weird chance know how much backspacing i am gonna need to tuck some 18" rims, my ride has 16" kmc's, but it just needs a couple more inches of the shiny stuff! anyways, my truck is slammed 7/9, i have blocks, shackles, and springs on the @$$ end of her, and up front i have dropped upper, and lower control arms, and spindles. any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

it depends on the width of the rim. on a 7.5" rim you could tuck with a +42mm offset, but you would have to cut the fender lip alot. 7" rim with +42mm offset will tuck fine. That works out to be right around 5.6" of backspacing. On an 8" rim you need like 6.5" to be safe. If you want to be absolutely sure, check out the june 2002 issue of mini truckin. they have an article about how to correctly measure backspacing. I hope this helps.
