I read your others posts, saying how hotchkis rides quite stiff as well. Is there any other solution to a lowered truck and halfway comfortable ride? I know tight cornering is a bonus right now, but that not totally necessary.
Is there any happy medium with lowered suspension and comfortable ride?

well this is what i have on mine.
Front- 2" lowered coil
2" lowered A-arm
Rear - 2" shackle
4" block
and 4 dochtech shocks.
the truck rides verry good. the ride is firmed up a little because of the shocks, but it is not at all brutal. cornering is AWSOME. some say that blocks make for a crappy ride, or makes the truck have wheel hop. they didnt effect my truck in any way negitive. if they did i would get the hangers out of my garage and install them.
If you want a 3/5 drop AND a good ride, go with this - 2" A-arm
1" spring
3" block
2" shackle, and 4 new lowered shocks

I was lowered with the Western Chassis 4-6 drop. It consisted of 2" drop A-arms and 2" drop coils up front and 5" from shackles and hanger and a 1" block in the rear. I added Doesch tech shock absorbers and it rode very good, and cornered well. I think a lot of what figures into the rough ride is the size of the sidewall on your tire. It rode excellent on 50 series and on 40's now it is a little more sensitive. I also think that you get what you pay for, I would suggest getting Eibach or Western Chassis smooth rider coils. Or you could forget everything I just said and get airride like I did.

Shooooot. i cut a coil off the springs, made it mono leaf and a
2inch block. rides fine except for potholes.

The rims are 20 x 8.5,The tire I ran is 255/35r20 and they fit perfect. I am very happy.

I have a pair of 22s I'm wantin to put under mine ill prolly have to raise the front up so they won't rub. But the back I'm just gonna tub out because I magicaly lost the leafs. I hope I can tub the front out but it take more cuttin and a lot more work. I also have to convert to 5 lug. Anybody heard if its possible to switch axles and hubs off a 87 to 90 model kota and put em on a 92 Le kota???
