 Subject: 3/5 drop, what size tires?

if i lower my 98 dakota with the DJM 3/5 drop kit, what is the best size tire to get? i want it to look sleek, and go low profile with the tires as well as nice and wide compared to my 235 i have now on 15's, but i also don't want that much of a gap between the tire and the wheel well. would 275/40/17 work and give me the look i want? if anyone has any pics of a lowered 3/5 on R/T rims, i would love to see them and please tell me the tires you used! thanks mike

I would use a 275/45 or a 275/50 with that drop...it will look really good

I have a 1999 GMC Sonoma. I want to put a 3/4 drop on. What size tire could I use with 18" rims so that I'm not going to rub. I have 205 75/15

i had 255/45 18's when i used to have a 3/5 and it filled the wheelwell perfect just a little gap but no rub i think that was a 27 inch tall tire so just check that height but for a 17 inch.

I've got a 3/4 drop with a 235/50/18. Fills up the wheel wells very nicely. And doesn't even come close to rubbing.

i have 255/35/20 with a 3/5 drop on my 97. can i run 295/40/20 on a 20x9 inch w/o any vertical rubbing? thanks
