I am about to lower my 98 CC V8 with a western chassis 3/5 drop. 2" lower arms, 1" springs, hangers out back. Using belltech shocks. Coincedently I need new tires. Bought the r/t wheels. Looking at Kumho 275/40/17 's . Tirerack has these in stock for $113 each. I want to know if this setup will rub or not ? I don't want to destroy $500 worth of tires in a month. (Yes I am going to get an alignment) PLEASE HELP !! :)

Lets see, 275/40/17 = 25.66 inches. now even with you hvy V8 you should be fine. I have lowered my truck the same amount and im using 27.1" tall tires. so you should be fine.
