Message: Hey, I am thinking about getting a 02 4.7 4x2 Dak as a tow vehicle for my Jeep and a daily driver. It would only pull towing duties about twice a month. What I would like to do is lower it and put bigger wheels and low pro tires but, I am starting to wonder if there are any lowering kits out there that will be tough enough for a trailer and about 4400 lbs. of lifted cherokee on the back? Maybe lowering springs and air bags to raise it when a load is put on? Dont know. This Dak will have the 5900 lbs GVWR rating so it will have bigger tires and wheels and whatever else comes with it. Any suggestions? Thanks. Oh also, who owns the bad ass gray Dak on page 17 of the viewers ride section? Would love to get more pictures of that one. Thanks

(sweet truck!)
as for lowering the rear, and towing that much
weight, the ideal route would be to install a 4
link, and airbag setup, but you can always add
airbags to the rear to raise it under heavy
loads.
4.7....great choice! make sure you opt for the
3:92 gear ratio, and sure grip limited slip.
