Subject: 97 3.9L Suspension conversion to R/T IP: Logged
Message: Just wondering how one would go about equiping a 97 3.9L dakota with the lowered R/T suspension. I am pretty sure the front coil springs should be a direct fit correct? As far as the rear leaf springs wont the different size rear ends 8.25 vs 9.25 cause an issue?
I appreciate all the help and advice.

Message: the front springs for an r/t will raise your v6 truck an inch since they are made for the weight of a v8.

Message: Don't do it is right the springs will raise the truck some, as far as the rear all you will need for that is longer U bolts to compensate for the larger diameter. I have already done this on my truck.
