 Subject: damn tire hits stock fender flair

i put a 2/4 drop on my 02 quadcab, and it seems like the front pass, side is weaker, meaning, when i come to lets say a speed bump. the front driver side will bounce a little and nothing will happen, however the left side seems to be weaker and the tire rubs the fender flair, wtf?? i took it to a shop and the mechanic said everything is fine but i think i just need stiffer springs, i used beltech springs and shocks. any suggestions on how i can correct the problem. oh and i can't get a smaller tire, so that's outta the question. i am running 265/35/22's,

Maybe check the springs to make sure they are seated properly. When I ran springs the first time they were installed one was a half turn from being in the pocket properly causing uneven travel over bumps. The springs wont be to week Belltech does the home work on all its kits.

22"s are way to big for a dakota LOL, thats why your rubbing, maybe you should get a suspension lift?

Dan must have whent too the wrong page. 22's can fit. The whright offset and know how it's possible. Got to a truck show and you will see.
If you look back through the articles there is a guy on this site that has done it.
2wd slamed, 4wd raised.
Hey try air ride its way better than unassisted suspensions. I will never go back.

actually the stock fender flairs help out and don't make the tires look like they stick way out. in know i should of went air suspension, i still might, later on. yea ppl told me that 22's won't fit, that's why i got em to prove em wrong. even with the drop they only rub when i hit potholes or speed bumps, turning is no problem and u turns are no problem..

yea but i'll pass on rubberbands. beltech came out with spring distance spacers. i think i will try em out.....
