Subject: 2/4 Drop IP: Logged
Message: Hey all! Ive been coming here and finding answers to all my questions, and I think that Im going to go with a 2/4 drop. That way i can put junk in the back, and be completely worry free. My question is though, I have Kelly 255/60/15 tires...I went with those because I cant stand the pizza cutter 215's. Will I have to get new tires if I lower it? Im sorry that this question is asked to death, but Id really like to know.
Thanks alot!

Message: I don't have an answer for your question but I can tell you this. The 215 tire is 8.5" wide and 28" tall where as the 255 is 10" wide and 27" tall. I would say that as long as you're not rubbing now with the 255s you shouldn't be rubbing after a 2" drop in the front. And if you do, I'm sure it won't be by much.

Message: I've got a set of 235/70 16s on mine right now and those are about 29" in diameter and 9.25" wide and they just barely rub at the stock ride height. Yours are a full 2" smaller than mine so at most they will only rub a bit.
