Message: A 2 inch block will make the tail low(nose high/ w stock front end) I had a friend mill a 2 inch down to 1 3/8ths to get a level look w/ the front end stock. You may just try a 1 inch block if you don't hay access to a milling machine or a friend who works in a shop who'll do it for a six-pack.
I bet that a 1 inch block will make you happy for the price.

| Will my front stop dragging soon? IP: Logged
Message: I slammed my 2003 Dakota R/T with 3 in. coils in front and 4 in. angles blocks in rear. The ride is not bad at all, however I had to remove the front & rear bumper stops, and now the front scrubs my inner fender well, and flares. Any suggestions, or ride this truck out til it grinds down the scrubbing areas?

Message: Just get smaller bump stops for the front and rear. I have a 2/4 on mine and no problems up front. Out back is a different story. The rear end is real soft and it bottoms out a lot. It really needs a C-notch.
Finally... a V8. '01 Dodge Dakota RC, 4.7, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. = R/T Killer. well at least a stock one

Message: what kind of shocks did you put on. cuz i lowered 5" in the front and 7" in the rear and i have yet to bottom out or rub. i used toxic shocks and they seem to hold up on the bumps and everyday drivin. but if you go with some off brand the shocks can get weak and cause you to bottom out in the back.
