Message: i want to lower my 03 R/T and i have been comparing alot of pics of ppls drops i so far like the 2/4 on 20's but i herd that the R/T is already a bit lower than a regular 2 wheel drive is it? and by how much? and most of the people who do 2/4 dont have an R/T

Message: r/t's are 1" lower from the factory. The tires are 1" smaller in diameter also.

Message: The R/T users 17" rims and lower profile tires
where other Daks use 15" & 16" therefore the 1" smaller tires makes no difference. R/T's are as stated 1" lower from Std Daks

Message: Sorry, I am a dumbass. I am not smart enough to realize that 1" smaller tire, makes the ride height a half inch lower reguardless of the rim size. So I apolagize and have to go to my GED class now.

Message: It is potentialy easier to lower a non R/T as the rear axle tube dia. is smaller on a non R/T.
It makes a 2&4 hard to achive with good ride results on an R/T as the axle tube will hit the underside of the frame rail over the smallest of bumps, making a 'c' notch the best solution.
On an R/T, 2&3 is probably the best way to go.

Message: Does anyone know any manufacturers that make the 2/3" drop for the R/T?? I have been looking and i cannot find any, Hotchkis TVS set up is actually only a 1/2.5 drop. But i want the actual 2/3 even if it does mean that i have to get the frame c notched.

Message: just shootin around ideas, cause I am not really sure. Wouldnt a 3/4 drop give you a 2/3 on an R/T?
I would think so.
