Message: I had squeaks in my rear suspension components.
I used a silicone-based spray lubricant. No more
noises at all. Spray it into the rubber bushings
at the leaf spring ends where they attach to the shackles/hangers, and also in between the leafs themselves (some have plastic/rubber plates between the leafs). WD40 is great - as a quick fix, but does not last long. The silicone lubricant will last longer. Just about any hardware store carries at least one brand.
