Message: I have a 01 dakota with the same as you. I have 3 inch coils and my headers for my 408 stroker where hitting. I spent $500 on my ceramic coated headers and they hit. We bought another set and we cut them up and they hit. I now have a 3rd set and these are shorties not full length and we cut up these to reroute the back primaries and we still had to dent in one of the pipes so it cleared one of the bolts on the a-arm and we dented the power brake booster a little bit. The headers are now set out for a good coating. The primaries are 1-5/8 inch instead of 1-1/2 inch. This might not really help but just letting you know i had some trouble too. You may have to dent them a bit and i know you dont want to.
