Subject: ?'s on taking out inner fenders

Message:
i just lowered my truck 5in. in the front and 7 in the rear and i had to tub my fenders and then i decided to completely remove the inner fenders...(yeah i had to relocate a few things) but how bad will this be during a hard rain. i have a 94 dakota. All i can think of is the ignition getting wet and jumping fire. But the intake hat sits on top of the manifold so i think it should be cool. Anything else? thanks in advance....jteuton

what size tire are you running?

what do you mean by "tub your fenders"? you tub the wheel wells, NOT the fenders.

if you are going to tub the wheelwells in the front, you dont have to worry about the rain, but if you are going to leave them open, you still dont have that much to worry about. my friend has a 97 dak, bagged on 20's and the front wheelwells were cut out, and he has had no problems in 3 years driveing in the rain.

oh sorry....i meant i tubbed the rear and rolled the lip on the front. I then took out the inner fenders in the front. I'm running 225/60 16's and can't get anything smaller or i'll scrape frame. Its coming a big rain this weekend so i guess i'll see if it gets wet.
