I have a stock 2002 Dodge Dakota SXT I am wanting to lower it with a 3/5 drop. For one is that to low and wil it rub. I am running 255/55/18's and will it set level.

I have an 02 rc with 3/5 djm kit and 255/45/18 and i have no problem....and it sits dead level. as far as the 55 series...i dont think you will have a problem, but you won't have much of a gap for any serious bumps.

If you are going to do a 3/5 drop it better include a c-notching the rear. If you don't your frame will be sitting on your axle. I did a chassis tech 3/4 drop and I only had about an inch and a half clearance between the frame and the axle, that's with pancake bumpstops. I put in a c-notch and currently have no problems. If you c-notch the rear, you should be ok.

easily, i have dubs on my dak and did a 4/6 drop, def. go with c notch and get rid of those stupid rubber bumpers that come with the kit, they cause more rough ride than anything! mines for sale sheck out my forum!
