 Subject: what size 20's will fit ?

Just about ready to order some 20's...just wanted to get a opinion of what size tire will fit before it hits the fenderwell ?? I know all these questions have probably been asked...but here I go,,,just wanted to get the opnions,,,Thanx much for the info. I am planning on putting full Air ride on after I get the wheels...should I get DJM drop control arms to help it lay down in front, with the help of the shockwaves..? Any info or help is mucho appreciated.

If you plan on doing bags, DO NOT ORDER 20's YET!
You have to get a custom set made with the correct off-set.

Not true...u can get any size offset rims and get 20's to fit. Have to have control arms narrowed and rearend narrowed. Thats what I had done to mine and Im laying frame with a 20 x 8 40 mm offset...heres my profile http://streetsourcemag.com/ViewOwnerProfile.aspx?Profileid=15487

Cutting the rear end and custom control arms is very expensive but worth it if you get someone who knows what they are doing. I have a set of 20 x 9.5 and i plan on tucking them this fall. I know someone who does custom fab and he can make a one off set of upper and lower control arms but they are pricey. If i can get some other people interested i can probably get him to come down in price. You can also roll your fenders and get smaller 20s to fit heres a simple how to with a wooden bat www.CreativeConceptsCC.com

i have a dakota bagged on 22s i had 20s and still had plenty of room before they hit the fire wall and if u plan to bag all u need is spindles and to re-angle your stock upper control arms to avoid ball joint binding you can go with a 245/35r20 or if u want smaller you can go with a 235/30r20 and will have no problems

If u don't bag it, i have a 4x4 lowered 4 inches and i have 275/45/20 with no clearence issues at all. with 20x8.5 rims.
