Message: Hands down you want a 2/4 drop, and you want the best quality, go with western chassis. You can order the 2/4 kit from a company called sporttruck direct. The kit will include a 2' drop spindle, and a adjustable 4' rear hangers and shackles. It will run you about $369, but it is by far the best kit on the market for Gen I and gen II daks. I'm actually gonna order the kit soon. I've done a lot of research on dropping daks. I've already got a 2/2 drop, but I want a 4/6. So I'll be ordering that kit along with a C-section for my 87 Dak. Hope I was of some help. This kit is great because it allows you to keep your towing capacity and ride quailty about the same, as it improves your handling. Seriously think about it if money isn't the issue.

Message: Money isn't the issue, i'd like to stay under $400 if possible though. My trucks front coils are very weak...would you reccomend finding some off another truck, or new? or just getting lowering springs? I was going to go ahead and get the Western Chassis kit you have but I put new shocks on my truck yesterday and didn't stop the bounce as much. WHere would i be able to find a front sway bar also? Stock or aftermarket. which ever is cheapest. thanks a lot.
