Subject: Lowering a 88 dakota? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1988 dakota, 2WD 2.0L, I want to put a set of 20" rims on it and I was planning on lowering it 3" in rear and 2" in front for a level appearance. I bought 3 in blocks for the rear which went fine, but im having trouble finding companies that make drop spindles or springs for the front for my year dakota. Ground force has a pair of 2" drop spindles but it says only for non-power steering and I have power steering, I don't understand why that would matter. I was wondering if anybody has any ideas or any other companies that might have products?

Message: Bell tech makes drop spindles AND springs.... Here's the site where i got my drop kit. Btw when u drop it, id upgrade the bushings to urethane bushings. A little stronger and better than rubber. Should be on the site as well.
