Subject: 3" drop spring problem IP: Logged
Message: I just put a djm 3/5 drop on my 98 dakota 4 cyl. Stylin concepts told me it would drop a 4cyl 3 full inches but i think they fed me some bs, because it hasnt dropped it an inch it actually lifted it 1/2 inch. Then they told me it takes some time to settle, and with my truck being 7 years old my stock springs had settled, and it takes time for the djm springs to settle to get my 3". Does anyone know how long it takes for these springs to settle. And please... i know... dont tell me im stupid for buying springs.. i know i should have bought control arms. thanks brandon

Message: i bought 3" springs, dropped it a lil more than 2" and they have to settle, its only been a week but i think theyll come down more. i dont see a spring settling like 2 inches though, almost no way i just dont see the coils compressing THAT much but only time can tell and u have to wait right?
