Subject: 3" drop spring problem
IP: Logged

Message:
I just put a djm 3/5 drop on my 98 dakota 4 cyl. Stylin concepts told me it would drop a 4cyl 3 full inches but i think they fed me some bs, because it hasnt dropped it an inch it actually lifted it 1/2 inch. Then they told me it takes some time to settle, and with my truck being 7 years old my stock springs had settled, and it takes time for the djm springs to settle to get my 3". Does anyone know how long it takes for these springs to settle. And please... i know... dont tell me im stupid for buying springs.. i know i should have bought control arms. thanks brandon

there is nothing wrong with springs.i had 3"springs on my truck for 2 Years.check to make sure they are in the pockets and not caught on any thing. they will take a little while to settle. if anyone wants to buy a set of 3"coils i have a set in the corner of my garage.
