 Subject: steel driveshaft

anybody with a bagged truck have to change out their driveshaft? mine rubbed even after I cut out the center cross support undernieth. the alumn. driveshaft is huge. it rubbed till it got weak, then it twisted in half right in the middle. am going to put in a 3.5 inch steel one. anybody else do this?

i broke my stock shaft when my truck was lowered 3/5, i put a shaft from an older dodge car in it that was 1 1/2" shorter and i havent had a problem yet. mines layin frame now and no problems. acually layin crossmember for now till i drag it off.
