 Subject: ~Bed Rattle After Lowered~

Everytime I hit a bump in the road, the bed rattles, clings, or clangs and I can't figure out why? I put a Belltech 3/4 drop in about a yr. ago and it's been this way ever since. Any ideas on what this might be? Thanks

Do you have a factory rear sway bar? When I lowered mine with the factory bar it rattled. Swapped to Hotchkis sway bar, no more rattle.

Check the top mounting bolts for the rear shocks. When I put my groundforce kit on I also had clanging going on in the back. The stock bolts ended up being too small for the shocks which produced play and caused the clanging. I purchased two slightly thicker bolts (less than a buck) and this eliminated the problem.

Another thing you might wanna check is the exhaust may be hitting the rear end when the suspension bottoms out.

my rear end squeaks like hell after I lowered it with a 2/4 shackle hanger kit..any ideas?

Mine rattles, pops & moves around too after I lowered it 4" in the back... I'll be driving down the street & hit a bump and see my bed sticking out... but havent found anything loose yet. Hopefuly after i get a rear sway bar it'll fix it.
