Message: Guys say no to drugs...I don't know where to start...you have to move the spring UP to lower a truck...the shackle would be shorter not longer... the hanger REPLACES the factory hanger. The new one moves the spring mounting point higher...the idea is to move the axles CLOSER to the frame...please don't narrow your rear end by cutting and welding...maybe you shouldn't drink the bong water. You absolutely should not be touching your trucks with tools

Message: Um, no...the aftermarker shackles and hangers are loner. They pull the bottom to the frame. How do they shortan an axel then? STFU.
No, it doesnt look like you did it yourself. It just looks like a 2/5 to me. Maybe the damn rubberband tires you are rollin' on are messing with my eyes, I dunno.

Message: guys think about what you are saying. Go look at the suspension. How can you make a longer shackle move the axle up twords the frame???? Explain it to me. As for the hanger they aren't longer or shorter. It moves the spring mount up higher on the frame.
To narrow a axle you have to cut it then remachine the splines. The housings can be cut and welded, but not the axle.

Message: I beleive I said some where (maybe not in this exact post) that I ***THINK*** thats how it's done and also said not to take my word on it. As I said before, I'm trying to learn all I can before going to college. Ya'll being laptop gangsters and talking trash over the internet, which is pathetic might I add, doesn't help me one bit.
I welcome those with actual info and not retardism.
