Message: Looking to lower my quad, been a while since i fooled around with any suspension, was doing alot of chevy f/s s-10 stuff couple yrs ago(bags mostly) new to the dodge stuff.. how much different is it? looking for like a 2" front 3-4" rear drop, dont mind buying stuff seperate(front from one place, rear from another). Can a block be used in back especially on the 3" drop, or will I have to use shackles/hangers? front Im set on coils, back is my concern, will I need "dakota" blocks or can I use a universal set? thanks for the help.!

Message: You could go with blocks in the back, a 'uni' kit will work, but I'd suggest hangers/shackles for safety. You'll need to confirm the axle tube dia. Probably need a 2" spring in front and 3" drop in back to level it. There are lots of kits avail., Hotchkis seems to be the prefered (but just go with thier back stuff, the front will be Ok with just springs)
