Subject: '00 R/T rear lowering problem IP: Logged
Message: i have a '00 club cab r/t and i lowered it 2" in the back w/ blocks and something doesnt seem right...my axle is about 2.5" away from my frame, so every time i hit a bump my axle slams into my frame. i was thinking of putting a leveling/lowering system in...any suggestions?? i have 275/40/17 tires too

Message: you need to get a c-notch put in. a custom shop shouldnt charge more $125-150 to do it, and thats including everything.

Message: I had the same problem with my '00 R/T CC. I installed a Air Ride load leveling system and it rides somutch better now. I only run about 10 psi in the bags and it only brings it up about 1/4 in.
I can also tow now. I just pump the bags up.
