Subject: Is this wheel/tire combo practical??

If I have a '99 Dak lowered 2", can I fit R/T rims on 235/75/17 tires without rubbing?

I need a tire with some grit for light off-roading, but I don't want a bulky tire either because it wouldn't match the lowered look.

so will I rub? and is there a good looking tough tire you've put on your R/T?

Thanks! :)

Don't want a bulky tire? 235 75 17 seems pretty bulky to me.

I have 235 50 18's on my truck that's lowered about 2.5" on front and 4" in back. It never rubs, but my tires have an overall diameter of 27.3in. Yours have a diameter of 30.9in. I know that your tires would rub on my truck constantly. I would suggest a size a little smaller than a 75 series.

Or just get rid of the drop. Because off-roading and lowered vehicles just don't mesh.

Thanks! after a little shopping, it seems to be a good idea to go 255/ 45/17, it's not so tall of a tire
