What are the pros and cons of using each method of lowering the rear?

Price is an obvious factor, both in making the parts and shipping them. But, what about ride and handling?

Come on guys, I can't believe that you don't have a preference on these two methods. I would like to hear from someone that has done both.

Springs is a much faster install and is easier if you want to go back to stock someday. Performance wise both are fine

With shackles you will have the same ride, with drop leafs the ride will be stiffer.

leafs are much easier to change, simply loosen and retighten bolts.
