Subject: Belltech shock prob! IP: Logged
Message: I lowered my dodge dakota 99 3/5 with DJM lower control arms and hangers and shackles. I put belltech shocks all around. my problem is that when I put the trcuk up on the lift and put on my front shocks, fluid starts o leak out of them as soonas i set it back on th ground. On my first try one shock leaked so i sent it back and got another one. I was putting the second one on and set the truck back down and the other one went bad. I got the three inch lowered nitro shock too. do any of you guys know what the heck is goin on. any help would be grealty appreciated

Message: Fluid leaking from a shock simply means it's a bad shock. So long as you didn't nick the chome shaft in the center, it's a warrany issue. Around here, everyone uses Nitro drop-shocks.
(I've heard of Belltech having problems).
