 Subject: 2" Shackles + 2" blocks =

Hey guys. My 99 V8 Dak is lowered 2/2 F/R.
Front springs and blocks in the rear.
I'm planning on going an extra 2" on the rear.
Would a pair of 2" shackles take me there.
The reason I'm asking is cause I read that some trucks will not drop the complete 2".
Also would Ground force# 91143(shackles) do it.
Yeah I know its a STUPID ? but someone have to ask it at times.

No such thing as a stupid question.
If they're advertised as 2" drop shackles, then they're probably closer to 3" longer than stock, and yes it will bring the rear down 2". Remember to cut the bump-stops down an inch or 2.
