I've got a 97 Dak and I just got a 2/3 drop done to it. Right now I've got some 15x7s with 235/60-15 rubber and I've got plenty of room. I'd like to get a set of chromed R/T rims and I was wondering what the biggest tire size is that I could go without rubbing.

I recommend not going much larger then stock which is 255/55/17. My r/t wheels were close fitting even at the stock suspension height.

255/55R18 up front will fit (29x10)
285/55R18 in back fits easily (30.3x11.2)
On 17" wheels those are 255/60R17 and 285/60R17, which may not be available.

Can you run a 285 series on a R/T rim? its only a 9" rim? If so what is the widest across that you can put on there?
