Drop kits are not motor specific, just model specific. Bottom line is get a kit for your 99 std cab and you'll be fine. Enjoy!

Scojo is mostly right. Most kits that use springs in the front are motor specific. a v-8 weights alot more than a 4 cyl. you wont get as much drop if you use a v-8 spring with a 4 banger.

Thank you guys!! All kits that I saw They say that fits v6s or v8s, so I was wondering if there are any difference between these engine kits and my 4 banger. If you say there are no difference..so thank you again for your help..I think do not use springs, what do you say??

That is what I am doing now. I have a 4 banger but ext cab 1999. I bought a 3-5 kit from DJM. I a using control arms for the front. I heard that they will work. So I will find out.
