Message: I've got a set of instructions I've made up myself with a few pictures and some words of experience. This was for installing drop springs, shackle mounts, and hangers for a Gen II. I think it's going to be pretty close to, if not exactly the same. If you'd like, I can e-mail them to you and you can decide for yourself. Send me a reqeust at logankubik@hotmail.com.
As for your pinion angle question, I have yet to hear of anyone needing shims for dakotas. As long as you are keeping the leaf springs, you should be ok.

Message: I am wondering if getting the 1900Lb payload will raise the rear too much. What are people's experiences with the re-arched springs? I am assuming they simply re-arch the stock or add a leaf to obtain the extra rating. I will probably use the extra capacity but I am mainly getting it for the larger rear brakes. Thanks, Guys.
